We are a week into our new initiative - to collect funds to support children's hospitals this holiday season. In normal years without a pandemic, children's hospitals typically receive thousands of toys, which are then distributed to pediatric patients after hospital visits, procedures, etc. The COVID-19 pandemic prohibits hospitals from receiving these physical toy donations this year. Thus, we see a need for the Be A Wonder Foundation to step up and provide funds to allow Child Life Services to directly purchase these toys to ensure kids can still receive these toys, which provide critical distractions and opportunities to smile.
